VVAFT Board of Directors Meeting
VVA Chapter 366 San Antonio, Texas hosted the Texas State Council Meeting on June 4-5, 2010
The VVAFT Board of Directors meeting was held at 4:00 pm on Friday, June 4th. Besides normal business, the second applicant was
interviewed for the open  position on the board of directors due to passing of board member Herschel Carmichael in November 2009.

resigned and the vacancy was filled by Susie Moreno (AVVA Chapter 574 El Paso.

VVAFT Board meetings are held in conjunction with the Vietnam Veterans of America - Texas State Council
Meeting.  The VVAFT Board meets on Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. and the Texas State Council meets on
Saturday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. All VVAFT Board members are members of Vietnam Veterans of America
and serve in various positions within VVA and the VVA Texas State Council at either the chapter, state
or national level.

The VVAFT Board of Directors meeting was held at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 12th. Besides normal business, an announcement was
made that the foundation is accepting applications for a vacancy on the board due to passing of Herschel Carmichael in November 2009.

VVAFT President Meeks presented VVA Chapter 1000 a check
for $1000 during the TSC meeting on Saturday to support the
chapter's community service project which goes to Ft. Hood
every Tuesday and provides goodies to the troops deploying
and returning from Iraq & Afghanistan during processing
